Chaplaincy to offer ‘Understanding Grief’ class
The Chaplaincy will host a class on grief – what it is, how to handle it and how to get help – from noon to 2 p.m. or 6-8 p.m. Jan. 6.
Through discussion, lecture and a 35-minute video, To Touch a Grieving Heart, guests will learn about a range of common grief reactions, and the best ways to foster healthy grief processes. Guests also will learn when and how to reach out for help.
The class will be at the Chaplaincy Bereavement Center, 712 W. 19th Ave., Kennewick. Admission is $10 and registration is required.
