Tri-City garbage, recycling pickups set for holidays

All garbage and recycling services for Basin Disposal and Ed’s Disposal customers in Kennewick, Richland and Pasco will run on the usual day, including on Christmas Eve and Christmas.

In Walla Walla, garbage routes will be normal but Friday and Monday’s recycle routes will be moved to Dec. 28.

In the Lower Yakima Valley, all Friday routes will be moved to Dec. 24.

The BDI Transfer Station will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 24 and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 25. The station will be closed Dec. 26.

Basin recycling and disposal offices will be open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas.

Customers are asked to leave their garbage cans out early.
