Junior Achievement of SE Washington receives $15,000 grant from ConAgra

Junior Achievement of SE Washington recently received the ConAgra Foods Foundation Nourish Our Community Award, a $15,000 grant awarded annually by ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston.

The nonprofit Junior Achievement’s mission is to educate young people in financial literacy, prepare them for the work force and show them how to succeed in a global economy.

The money will be used to support more than 30 middle school programs throughout the Tri-City area. The grant will help buy appropriate insurance and materials and will provide training, support and recognition for all JA volunteers and teachers.
