Snow canceling after-school activities around Tri-Cities
The Pasco, Finley, Kennewick and North Franklin school districts and Kingspoint Christian School have canceled all after-school activities today due to the snowy weather.
Columbia Basin College will close at 4 p.m. and evening classes will not be held.

The Tri-Cities is getting coated with an inch or two of Christmassy snow , according to the National Weather Service.
A mix of rain, snow and freezing rain is forecast for this evening.
Precipitation after 10 p.m. likely will fall as rain. The overnight temperature is expected to rise to 41 degrees by 5 a.m.
Flood watches are in effect through Saturday for much of western Oregon and southwest Washington because of heavy rainfall.
The mountains are seeing significant snow, and slick roads led many Central Oregon districts to close schools Thursday, including Bend.
In the Columbia River Gorge, school districts in both Oregon and Washington either canceled classes or delayed the opening bell. Buses in some districts were running on snow routes.
Snow began falling Thursday morning in Washington's mountains.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for Snoqualmie Pass, east of Seattle, through 4 a.m. on Friday.
They predicted a foot of snow on Thursday and another 9 inches overnight.
