Confluent makerspace fundraiser set Dec. 16 at Barnes & Noble
Barnes & Noble in Kennewick is donating a percentage of sales from 2 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 16 to Confluent, a new makerspace that’s preparing to open.
It will be the first in the Tri-Cities. A makerspace is a spot where people gather to create and learn.
Confluent will have art, robots, a 3D printer and more on display at the bookstore during that time. The group also will hand out stickers to show to the cashier so the sale can be counted.
A drawing for prizes is planned.
