A documentary on a disabled Pasco native’s quest to complete a triathlon will be shown Dec. 16 at Fairchild Cinemas, 5020 Convention Drive in Pasco.

Scotty Smiley, who was blinded by a car bomb 10 years ago in Iraq, is the subject of Beat Feet: Scotty Smiley’s Blind Journey to the Ironman. The film, which is narrated by legendary Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski, shows at 7 p.m.and 8:15 p.m.

Tickets are available now at www.fairchildcinemas.com.

Donations are being accepted to pay for the film’s post-production on Generosity.com. Any donations exceeding the cost will go to organizations that assist veterans and their families.

Smiley completed the Ironman Coeur d’Alene in June.
