Trailer restrictions in effect on I-82 because of high winds

The transportation of mobile homes has been restricted on Interstate 82 between Prosser and the Oregon state line because of high winds, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Sustained winds were reported at 21 mph Thursday afternoon in Pasco, with gusts up to 28 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

A high temperature of 54 degrees with mostly cloudy skies is predicted Thursday, with temperatures going down to 34 degrees overnight.
