SUV lands in Richland ditch

A West Richland woman lost control of a sport utility vehicle Monday morning and crashed into an irrigation ditch.

Jennifer Gessner was driving south on Steptoe Street in Richland when the crash happened, authorities said.

She apparently swerved to avoid another car and lost control.

Gessner complained of neck pain but refused medical treatment at the scene.
