Since its establishment in 2007, the White Bluffs Quilt Museum has housed its dual mission of preservation and education under the same small roof — but this month those two functions will split as classrooms, the Quilt Index Project and the museum archives are moved to an adjacent suite.

This move will essentially double the museum space. The additional space will provide three separate classrooms, which will be made available to reserve or rent for art classes or other meetings.

The museum, gallery and marketplace functions will continue to occupy the space at 294 Torbett St. in Richland.

White Bluffs encourages artists, teachers, and store owners to come and explore the possibilities of using this new space. Members of the community seeking a studio, a space to work on a project, or classes to take should visit www.whitebluffscenter.org.
