More freezing rain forecast for Tri-Cities
Roads could be slick again Thursday morning in the Tri-Cities.
The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain advisory from 10 p.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Thursday for much of the Mid-Columbia.
Freezing rain is likely, possibly mixed with sleet between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. in the Tri-Cities, according to the weather service. Freezing rain may be mixed with rain and sleet after 4 a.m.
The overnight low is expected to be a couple of degrees below freezing in the Tri-Cities.
Temperatures will start to warm on Thursday, however. The high could reach 43 degrees Thursday in the Tri-Cities and then continue to warm through early next week.
The Columbia Burbank School District already has announced a two hour delay to the start of school Thursday.
