Government contracting workshop set for Dec. 10
Business leaders can learn the basics of marketing and selling products and services to federal, state and local agencies at a free upcoming government contracting workshop.
“Government Contracting Essentials,” offered by the Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center and the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce, is from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at the Tri-Cities Business and Visitor Center, 7130 W. Grandridge Blvd. in Kennewick.
Attendees will be given information and tools to improve their government contracting strategies. In addition, attendees will learn about product/service classification, registering in correct databases, small business programs and certifications, different types of solicitations and laws and regulations.
