A woman and three teens were hurt when their pickup truck crashed into a bull that had wandered onto Highway 395 north of Pasco.

Peggy L. Vandegriffe, 56, of Kettle Falls, was driving south on the highway about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday when her 2014 Nissan Frontier struck the animal, said the Washington State Patrol.

Vandegriffe and three boys, ages 16, 14 and 14, all from Kettle Falls, were taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco to be treated.

Troopers said charges against the bull’s owner are under investigation.

The crash happened about seven miles north of Pasco.
