Last burned Priest Rapids Dam worker out of hospital

The last of six workers burned Oct. 8 in an electrical explosion at Priest Rapids Dam has been released from Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

He was one of two men in their 40s who initially were in critical condition.

An arc flash from a breaker, which serves as the on and off switch for one of 1- generators on the Columbia River Dam created heat and fire that injured the workers. The breaker has been removed and is undergoing a forensic analysis, according to Grant PUD.
