Colder temperatures to follow windy Tri-City weather
Another weather system moving across the Pacific Northwest is expected to bring gusty winds and blowing dust to the Tri-Cities Tuesday.
Tuesday also should be unseasonably warm in the Tri-Cities in advance of highs that are expected to drop into the 40s late in the week, according to the National Weather Service. Normal highs for mid November in the Tri-Cities are about 50 degrees.
Highs Tuesday should be in the low 60s and winds could gust as high as 48 mph. Wind speeds are forecast to build in the morning to sustained speeds of 28 to 33 mph. Breezy weather could continue through Wednesday.
Highs are expected drop into the upper 40s by Thursday and stay in the mid 40s Friday through the weekend in the Tri-Cities. Early forecasts predict that Friday night could be the coldest of the week, with temperatures just below freezing in the Tri-Cities.
