Priest Rapids Dam explosion patient leaves hospital

One more worker burned in an electrical explosion at the Priest Rapids Dam has been released from Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

That leaves one worker still hospitalized of the six burned Oct. 8 when an arc flash occurred in one of the dam’s generators. The worker, a man in his 40s, is in serious condition in intensive care at Harborview, but is improving, according to the hospital.

Notes of support may be sent to him at bit.ly/PUDworkers. For the patient’s name, enter “dam explosion patients in intensive care.”
