Workers injured in Priest Rapids Dam explosion improving
One of the two workers burned in an electrical explosion at the Priest Rapids Dam has been moved out of intensive care at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
His condition has improved from serious to satisfactory, according to the hospital. A second patient remains in serious condition in intensive care, but continues to improve. Both are in their 40s, but their names have not been made public.

An arc flash occurred on Oct. 8 in one of the dam’s 10 generators, and both current patients were initially in critical condition. Four other workers who were burned have been released from hospitals.
