A car was stuck under a semi trailer late Wednesday morning at West Clearwater Avenue and North Morain Street in Kennewick. No one was injured. Traffic was blocked in the area.

Kennewick police officer Mike Gaines talks with driver Shannon Enriques on Tuesday while she sits in the backseat of her Toyota Corolla that’s pinned under a semi-truck trailer at the intersection of North Morain Street and West Clearwater Avenue in Kennewick.

Officer Stan Howard said Everardo Tovar, driving a King Beverage truck, tried to turn east onto Clearwater from the left turn lane on Morain and apparently didn’t see the four-door sedan next to him.

He was cited for improper lane use, and Enriques was cited for driving without insurance. No one was hurt.
