Kennewick water service to continue during reservoir shutdown
Some Kennewick residents could see fluctuations in their water pressure during scheduled maintenance and inspection work at one of the city’s reservoirs.
The reservoir will be closed for three weeks. According to a Kennewick news release, the water supply will not be interrupted during the closure. But users in parts of northwest, central and southeast Kennewick could see water pressure fluctuations.
Residents who have pressure fluctuate, or have other concerns, are asked to call the city’s public works department at 509-585-4419. Updates will be available at www.go2kennewick.com.
The city has used previous shutdown periods to determine the best ways to deliver safe, continued water service while the reservoir is offline, it said.
