Wind, rainy weather forecast for Tri-Cities
A low pressure system is moving across the Mid-Columbia, bringing wind, rain and cooler temperatures heading into Halloween, according to the National Weather Service.
The high Wednesday in the Tri-Cities could drop to the mid 50s under cloudy skies. A 40 percent chance of rain is forecast for Wednesday .
More rain is possible from Friday through early the next week in the Tri-Cities. Winds are most likely Friday evening through Halloween night. Winds are not forecast to be at their strongest while trick-or-treaters are out, but winds could still be gusty then, according to early predictions.
Temperatures will be a little warmer after Wednesday. The high on Halloween is expected to be about 69.
Another cold front is predicted for Sunday night into Monday, dropping highs into the mid 50s again.
