Property owners in Benton and Franklin counties have until early November to pay tax bills before late charges will apply.
The due date for second half property taxes is Oct. 31, but since that day is a Saturday, officials will accept payments until Nov. 2, according to a release from the Benton County Treasurer’s Office.
If bills are not payed by Nov. 2, interest charges and penalties will be added.
Payments via mail need to be postmarked before Nov. 3 to avoid additional fees.
