A 34-year-old Hermiston woman was killed and four others were hurt in a wreck late Friday about four miles south of Kennewick.
Fawn J. White died at the scene, the Washington State Patrol reported.
She was a passenger in a 1999 Buick Regal headed west on Bowles Road at Highway 397 about 11:20 p.m., the patrol said.
The Buick, driven by Ty A. Moore, 31, of Benton City, failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2010 Toyota Camry headed south on the highway, the patrol said.

Moore was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, where he was treated and later released.
The Camry’s driver, Rosa E. Lemos, 21, of Kennewick, was taken to Trios Southridge Hospital in Kennewick, along with two others — Buick passenger Beatriz Garcia Medina, 22, of West Richland, and a 3-year-old boy.
Lemos and Medina both were listed in good condition on Saturday. An update on the boy’s condition wasn’t available because authorities didn’t release his name.
Troopers said drugs or alcohol may have been involved. The wreck is under investigation.
