Pasco police make arrests in fatal Oct. 7 shooting of teen

Pasco police have arrested two brothers wanted in connection with the fatal shooting earlier this month of 18-year-old George Garcia Thacker.

Nathan and Jaden Quintero were taken into custody Friday night in Walla Walla, with assistance from Walla Walla police and SWAT officers.

Pasco police followed leads to an apartment on the 300 block of South Fourth Street in Walla Walla. They executed a search warrant and the brothers were taken into custody without incident, police said.

They were to be booked into the Franklin County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder, police said.

Thacker, a former student at New Horizons High School in Pasco, was found shot the evening of Oct. 7 near the cable bridge.

The Quintero brothers were named as suspects a short time later.
