Tri-City police, Red Robin team up to help Special Olympics
Tri-City police officers will work alongside staff at Red Robin this weekend to raise money for Special Olympics.
The officers will be in the Kennewick restaurant from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 24, helping staff serve customers as part of the annual “Tip a Cop” fundraiser.
Athletes from around the region who participate in the games also will be on hand.
All of the tips collected during the event will be donated to Special Olympics. Customers who donate $100 or more will be entered into a drawing to win round-trip Alaska Airlines tickets.
Red Robin restaurants across the state will host similar fundraisers.
