Humane Society benefit at Richland dog park Oct. 24

FFA students at Kamiakin High School will be collecting dog food Oct. 24 at the dog park in south Richland to benefit the Benton Franklin Humane Society.

The “Dog Day of October” event is 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Paws-Abilities Place at Badger Mountain Community Park on Keene Road, a release said.

Activities including an obstacle course, hiking trails, costume contest and more will be offered, with prizes and ribbons for top finishers. Entry fee for the event is a package of dog food or dog treats.
