Breast reconstruction awareness reception set Oct. 21 in Pasco

Dr. Karen Vaniver, Lourdes’ chief of plastic surgery, is holding a breast reconstruction awareness reception 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 21 at Port of Pasco’s Osprey Pointe.

Women who’ve experienced post-mastectomy reconstruction will share their stories.

The reception coincides with National Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day and will focus on promoting awareness, education and access to services.

The event is free and hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. To RSVP, call 509-542-3055.
