Guided tour to see tree trunk art is Oct. 21
An hourlong guided tour to see sweaters knitted by local fiber artists decorating the tree trunks of about 20 trees in the south end of Howard Amon Park in Richland is at 9 a.m. Oct. 21.
“Sweater Weather: Fashion for the Urban Forest” is a tree wrap and art walk project, sponsored by Richland Parks and Recreation and the Parks Commission to encourage conversation, community pride, and walkability.
Participants will meet at the end of Lee Boulevard.
