Book sale at Mid-Columbia Libraries begins Oct. 22

Friends of the Mid-Columbia Libraries will have its Giant Book Sale beginning Oct. 22 at the main Kennewick branch.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit programs provided at the library district’s branches, a release said. Books, DVDs, audiobooks and other materials and items will be available.

The first day of the sale is open only to Friends members and is 5 to 7 p.m. The sale opens to the public on Oct. 23 and is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. that day. It will continue 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 1 to 3 p.m. on Oct. 25.

The main Kennewick branch library is at 1620 S. Union St.
