Each month, the Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center sources and features wine around a specific theme. This month, the tasting room features wines made with grapes grown in the Yakima Valley.
“We are very proud to feature the diversity of grapes grown in the Yakima Valley AVA, featuring white grapes from Albariño to Picpoul, and reds like Merlot, Sangiovese, and Montepulciano,” said April Reddout, wine program manager for the Clore Center.
Visitors can taste these wines for a $5 tasting fee and the wines are available for purchase.
The Clore center is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The winery offers light bites throughout the week, and an expanded Fresh Fare menu from noon to 4 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
