Benton PUD Senior Day set in Kennewick, Prosser

The Benton PUD will hold its annual senior day 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 21 in its auditoriums in both Kennewick and Prosser.

Benton PUD and Community Action Connections staff will help customers enroll in a discount program for low income customers who are at least 62 or have a disabled household member. Discounts range from 10 to 25 percent for households with a verified annual income of 225 percent or less of federal poverty guidelines.

The Kennewick event will include a presentation on understanding Benton PUD rates at 9 a.m. and guarding against fraud and scams at 10 a.m. Senior customers at both events will receive information on electrical safety and saving energy.

The Kennewick event is at 2721 W. 10th Ave. and the Prosser event is at 250 N. Gap Road.
