Ballots for November election to be mailed starting Oct. 13

The general election isn’t until Nov. 3, but the Benton and Franklin county auditors will begin mailing ballots to registered voters this week.

Franklin County is scheduled to mail ballots beginning Oct. 13. Benton County’s should begin hitting voter mailboxes a day or so later.

Ballots are due in the auditor’s office or must be postmarked by Nov. 3. Each county also maintains ballot drop boxes, which remain open until 8 p.m. on election day. A list of drop boxes for Franklin County can be found here while Benton County’s dropbox locations are available online here.
