Smart Driver classes available this month from AARP

The American Association of Retired Persons’ Driver Safety program will offer a number of Smart Driver classes over the month of October. Details are listed below.

▪ 9 a.m. Oct. 13-14 at the Pasco Senior Center, 1315 N. 7th Ave. Call 509-545-3459 to learn more.

▪ 9 a.m. Oct. 15-16 at the Kennewick Senior Center, 500 S. Auburn St. Call 509-585-4303.

▪ 9 a.m. Oct. 21-22 at the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Park Drive. Call 509-942-7378.

▪ 1 p.m. Oct. 27-28 at the Walla Walla General Hospital, 1025 S. 2nd Ave. Call 509-522-2424.

The class fee is $20, with a $5 discount for AARP members. Participants are encouraged to check with their automobile insurance agent for details about the type of discount they can receive for taking the course.
