High school students learn about construction careers at fairgrounds

More than 500 students from the Mid-Columbia had a chance to explore careers in construction and construction-related industries with hands-on experiences in masonry, electrical, welding, sheet metal and heavy equipment.

The annual event is sponsored by the Tri-City Construction Council, Tri-Tech Skills Center and numerous other local and regional companies.
