Tri-Cities Fever player to speak Oct. 7 at Kamiakin

A guest speaker specializing in mental and physical conditioning will speak at the Oct. 7 meeting of the Kamiakin High School Booster Club.

Steven Whitehead, offensive MVP for the Tri-Cities Fever, is co-founder and president of The Extra YARD and owner of Elite Ambitions Training, a news release said. He’s also a former two-time all-state football player and a collegiate All-American at McNeese State University.

He will speak about combining mental and physical conditioning into his training regimen and how he pushes others to challenge themselves.

The public is invited to the free event, which starts at 7 p.m. in the Kamiakin library.
