72-Hour Film Challenge kicks off Oct. 8
A 72 Hour Film Challenge starts Oct. 8 and runs through the weekend as part of the Tri-Cities International Film Festival, set for Oct. 16-18 in Richland.
Filmmakers are invited to write, shoot and edit a film during the 72-hour window, which kicks off with a 6 p.m meeting Oct. 8 at the Fuse Coworking space in Richland and runs to 8 p.m. Oct. 11.
“This short production period puts the focus on quick decisions and decisive shooting. It also forces some of us to ‘just shoot it’ with often outstanding results,” according to information from the festival.
There’s no cost to participate. Amateur aspiring filmmakers are encouraged to sign up.
