Twenty high-school marching bands square off today at Lampson Stadium in Kennewick for the 34th annual Cavalcade of Bands.

The competition features bands from across the Mid-Columbia, Yakima Valley, Spokane and Idaho.

Preliminary competition started at 8:30 a.m. and the finals are scheduled for 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the stadium on 500 South Dayton Street.
