Dr. Sheik Khan joins Trios Health in Kennewick

Dr. Sheik Khan has joined Trios Health as a hospital medicine specialist.

He will focus on the care of admitted and critically ill patients and will practice at Trios Southridge Hospital, a news release said.

Khan has worked in a range of medical capacities, including as a consulting internal medicine physician, hospitalist and emergency department physician and attending physician at medical facilities across the state, the release said.

He most recently worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs, American Lake Division in Tacoma.

He holds a medical degree from Tver State Medical Institute in Tver, Russia, and completed an internal medicine residency and chief residency at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. He is board certified in internal medicine.
