Sunnyside hospital to open oncology center Sept. 29

Sunnyside Community Hospital and Clinics will celebrate its new oncology suite with a groundbreaking ceremony from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 29 at its main hospital campus, 1016 Tacoma Ave.

This will be the first time oncology services have been available in the Yakima Valley. The center will be located at the hospital’s main campus, and will serve patients receiving cancer treatments.

Light refreshments will be served. The public is invited.
