McNary Dam Oregon boat ramp closes temporarily

The Oregon Boat Ramp at McNary Dam will be closed Sept. 28 and 29 to ensure public safety while the potable water-supply system is being rebuilt, according to the Army Corps.

The nearest free launch available on the Oregon side of the river is at Hat Rock State Park, six miles upstream of the dam.

The nearest boat launch on the Washington side of the river is the Washington Boat Ramp, just upstream of the dam.
