Cork’s Place seeks facilitators for children’s grief support groups

Cork’s Place in Kennewick is seeking volunteer facilitators for its children’s grief support groups, and training is planned in October and November.

The 30-hour training is Oct. 9-10, Oct. 23-24 and Nov. 6-7.

Facilitators help with grief groups for children ages 3 to 18. The groups meet every other week during the school year and average eight hours a month.

Facilitators are asked to commit to the groups for 10 months. Cork’s Place is part of The Chaplaincy.
