Pasco enrollment grows on third day of classes
The Pasco School District saw its enrollment jump by roughly 300 students between the second and third day of classes.
The district had 9,807 students in its elementary schools, 2,505 students in its middle schools and 4,540 in its two high schools for a total enrollment of 16,852 on Thursday.
The district has discouraged comparison of this year’s early enrollment numbers from the similar period of the last school year because of the two-week late start due to the teacher’s strike.
The first official enrollment numbers are due to the state on Oct. 1.
