The Edith Bishel Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired plans an evening of dinner “in the dark” fundraiser from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Sept. 17 in Richland.
The Dinner in the Dark fundraiser aims to help community members experience what it is like to eat a meal with no sight. All dinner guests are asked to be blindfolded during their dinner. Guests can participate in casino games such as black jack, beat the dealer and roulette.
The event includes casino games, a live auction and more. The fundraiser is at the Shilo Inn, 50 Comstock St. Tickets are $40 per person. Event proceeds benefit the center in Kennewick.
