Car maintenance class to be held at Richland Community Center

A one-hour basic car maintenance class is planned at 4 p.m. Sept. 15 and again on Oct. 13 and Nov. 10 at the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Park Drive in Richland.

Participants will learn how to jump start a car, check and fill fluids, install snow chains, perform basic maintenance and plan for an emergency. Demonstrations will be provided using both a car and a truck. The class will provide useful information for new and experienced drivers alike.

Participants should dress for the weather, as some instruction will take place outside.
