Cable bridge to be lit up in teal for ovarian cancer awareness

The cable bridge will once again be lit up in teal during the month of September for ovarian cancer awareness.

A bridge lighting event is 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 3 on the deck of the Clover Island Inn, 435 N Clover Island Drive, Kennewick.

The public is invited. The event is free.

The Tri-Cities Cancer Center and Ovarian Cancer Together are teaming up for the project.

The lighting will happen at 8 p.m. and the names of survivors present and loved ones who’ve died from the disease will be read. To honor a loved one, email details to kay@ovariancancertogether.org.
