AARP driver safety classes set

AARP Driver Safety will hold Smart Driver courses for drivers 50 years and older on the following days through the month of September. Here’s the schedule:

▪ 9 a.m. Sept. 8-9 at the Pasco Senior Center, 1315 N. Seventh Ave. Call 509-545-3459 to learn more.

▪ 8:30 a.m. Sept. 12 at Park Plaza Retirement Residence, 1400 Dalles Military Road in Walla Walla. Call 509-525-6513.

▪ 10:30 a.m. Sept. 14-15 at Charbonneau, 8264 W. Grandridge Blvd. in Kennewick. Call 509-943-4979.

▪ 1 p.m. Sept. 29-30 at Walla Walla General Hospital, 1025 S. Second Ave. in Walla Walla. Call 509-522-2424.

The class fee is $15 for AARP members and $20 for others. Participants are encouraged to check with their automobile insurance agent for details about the type of discount they can receive for taking a Smart Driver course.
