Reach center to hold Mud Cubs event Sept. 12
REACH Museum to host “Mud Cubs” event on Sept. 12
Kids of all ages are invited to come play in the mud at the first ever Mud Cubs event, scheduled from 10 a.m.-noon Sept. 12 at the REACH Museum, 1943 Columbia Park Trail in Kennewick. This fun, family-oriented event is sponsored by Blue Mountain Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Kids will race through an obstacle course across a play field of mud and water. The course will feature “ninja training,” a ropes course, and a series of obstacles designed to build kids’ confidence.
Close-toed shoes are required. It is recommended that participants wear old clothing and shoes, and bring a change of clothes and a towel. Participants may wear swimsuits beneath their clothing.
Admission for registered Boy Scouts is $10, and $5 for each family member thereafter. Admission for participants not currently registered in Boy Scouts is $15, and $10 for each additional family member.
