History professor to lecture on baseball

William Woodward, a history professor at Seattle University, will present a free lecture on the parallel histories of baseball and the United States called “Coming Home: Baseball’s America.”

The lecture will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at Washington State University Tri-Cities, 2710 Crimson Way, Richland. For more information, go to humanities.org/calendar-events.
