Kennewick classes offer lessons in Arabic
Kennewick Community Education is offering Arabic classes.
There will be two classes provided. The beginning class is for students with little or no knowledge of Arabic. The class will cover the alphabet as well as basic vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.
This class meets from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays.
The second class is for students who are familiar with the language. This class places more emphasis on knowledge needed for overseas travel.
This class meets from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays beginning this week.
The classes meet at Kamiakin High School, 600 N. Arthur, Kennewick. Both classes are $84.
Advance registration is required and can be completed at communityed.ksd.org.
