Basic dog obedience class starting in June
WALLA WALLA -- Youth and adults can register for a new dog obedience clinic that teaches basic commands and handling distractions in public situations.
Dogs must be 4 months old or older, be nonaggressive, and have up-to-date immunizations.
The introductory class starts at 6:30 p.m. June 1 at Washington State University Extension Office, 328 W. Poplar, Walla Walla. No dogs attend this meeting.
The subsequent hands-on training sessions will be held at the Walla Walla Fairgrounds on June 4, 11, 18 and 25. Participants may sign up for the 9 or 10 a.m. training session.
Cost is $10 for registration per dog and the deadline to register is 5 p.m. May 31. Registration can be done online at wallawalla.4h.wsu.edu or at the WSU extension office, 328 W. Poplar, Walla Walla.
