Symphony to have concert Thursday

The Walla Walla Symphony will have an informal family concert at 7 p.m. Thursday in Cordiner Hall on the Whitman College campus in Walla Walla.

The concert will be a blend of music that will appeal to children as well as adults. Some of music includes the works of composer Gregory Smith (Mr. Smith's Composition).

Also on the roster will be Gwyneth Walker's new composition, Blessings from the Children and features singing by children from Rogers Adventist School, under the direction of Terry Koch.

Admission is a nonperishable food item per person.
