Walla Walla man injured in Highway 12 crash
WALLA WALLA -- A Walla Walla man was injured Friday in a single-car accident on Highway 12 in Walla Walla County.
Daniel Anglin, 23, was headed east at 6 p.m. when his 1996 Pontiac Grand Am left the roadway, the Washington State Patrol said. He then overcorrected, the vehicle rolled and came to a rest on its wheels in the middle of the highway, the WSP said.
His passenger, Esmeralda Rojas Barcott, 19, of Walla Walla, was not injured. Police said a 10-month-old boy in the car also was not injured, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Anglin was cited for driving with wheels off roadway, driving with a suspended license suspended and not wearing a seat belt, according to police.
He and the baby were taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Walla Walla.
